Local Dancing Instructors Give Hines Ward High Marks

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Three dance instructors from the Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Wexford think Hines Ward has a great chance of winning the entire competition on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Josh Grobe, Bryce Taylor and Rosalinda Cardinali all give Ward high marks for his determination and hard work. They say he and his dancing partner have good chemistry.

“They were truly dancing and dancing off of each other which in ballroom dancing, that’s the most important thing,” Cardinali said.

They all winced when they saw video of his dancing partner’s injury during practice.

“The fact that she was able to get up and walk – it looked brutal,” Taylor said.

As for Ward’s stiffest competition, they believe it will be Kirstie Alley or Chelsea Kane.

Ward and his partner received the perfect score of 60 Monday night.

I just think it was wrong how the judges gave the 15 points to Chelsa & Mark & we think they did that because they knew they would get voted off on Tuesday. And that was wrong ! But God Bless Kym & Hines ! Praise God that Kym is okay & they didn’t have to get a new partner for Hines.

No Gump you are a pig. Kirstie is doing a great job. Just because she is not a stick woman doesn’t invalidate her..

Amen! I am proud of her. It’s not easy to dance and she is very clean in her footwork when she dances. I want Hines to win of course, but Kirstie is great too!

She has strengths and weaknesses. Her Latin is wonderful, but she simply does not have the stamina to manage a good Jive or Quickstep. Her age works against her there; she’s in wonderful shape for 60, but she IS 60. And the extra weight also tires her out.

Chelsea would not have been the one to go even without the extra 15, which she earned. I am a 100% Hines backer, but that Cha Cha wasn’t his best, by far. He does best with rehearsal and not too well (relatively speaking) off the cuff. Ralph will leave, he knows it’s time. My 1-2-3 choices are HInes, Chelsea, then Kirstie.
