Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Pirates starter Charlie Morton will have to wait another day to pitch because the Pirates/Nationals game for today has been postponed.

The weather forecast today for Washington, DC called for rain the entire day, so, this afternoon’s game has been postponed.

The scheduled pitching matchup was RHP Charlie Morton vs. RHP Jordan Zimmerman.

No make-up date for today’s game has been announced yet.

This is the second consecutive start for Morton that has been wiped out because of rain.

The Pirates move on now to Cincinnati where the forecast doesn’t look much better.

The early forecast calls for rain for much of the day.
