PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — President of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 85, Pat McMahon, joined Robert Mangino to discuss Port Authority drivers and their wages. Some drivers are said to make over $100,000 per year. There is even a driver that recorded over 2,000 hours in overtime. McMahon says the Port Authority would rather pay the overtime than hire additional drivers. Listen in to Pat McMahon and Robert Mangino on KDKA.

this information about PAT drivers making over $100,000 is beyond ludicrous when the hard working citizens they are driving around are struggling to make ends meet and still have enough left over to pay their “over the top” public transit fares. What a fiasco for sure for those who must rely on these individuals to get them to their often under-paid positions. Someone needs to fix this mess.
