2 Wounded In Overnight Stabbing In Garfield

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Two people were hospitalized overnight following a stabbing at an apartment building in Pittsburgh’s Garfield section.

Police were called to the building in the 5600-block of Penn Avenue just after 1:30 a.m. for some kind of altercation.

One victim, a 21-year-old man, was stabbed in the stomach and is listed in critical condition. The other is in stable condition.

Authorities say one of the victims was found bleeding heavily outside and the other was still inside.

Pittsburgh police are investigating.
