Washington Co. Fatal Crash Victims Identified

DONEGAL (KDKA) – The identities of two people killed in a fiery crash on Interstate 70 in Washington County this week have been released.

The victims have been identified as 48-year-old Pamela Shepherd and 58-year-old Frank Shepherd. Both are from Rome, Ga.

The accident happened on a ramp at the I-70 welcome center in Donegal Thursday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., a truck was attempting to exit at the welcome center along the eastbound side of I-70. Another truck clipped the back of it and lost control.

Two parked tractor-trailer rigs were also hit and damaged in the accident.

The victims were riding in the tractor-trailer that crashed into the three others and caught fire. One may have been ejected from the vehicle and the other was trapped inside.

Prayer is not bull yo! Just because you are unfamiliar with it doesn’t give you the right to to belittle those of us that practice speaking to GOD thru Jesus Christ on behalf of others whose life has been tragically altered by the death of loved ones. Don’t knock something you don’t understand. Maybe someday soon you to will even try praying. Hopefully before tragedy strikes.
