NORTH SIDE (KDKA) – One person was injured after being stabbed on the North Side Monday morning.
According to emergency dispatchers, the incident happened in the 1600-block of Sandusky Court around 7:30 a.m.
The victim suffered a stab wound to the neck and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in stable condition.
The victim is believed to be a man in his 40s.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

They will probably find an unregistered knife was used in the stabbing. I support legislation to close the ‘loop hole’ that allows anyone to purchase cutlery without a thorough background check. Ok, enough sarcasm, I just think people should recognize it’s not so much the weapon as it is the person holding it. Criminals, by definition, do not pay attention to laws so it’s impossible to legislate a lower crime rate. If people would stop to think for a minute instead of just going with knee-jerk reactions they would see the truth in this.

It has nothing to do with that. A knife was used because it is “put your piece down Monday” in the hood, and the bad guy was just trying to do his daily murders the correct way.
