Terrelle Pryor Faces Significant Probe From NCAA

COLUMBUS (KDKA) — Former Jeannette QB and Jim Tressel recruit Terrelle Pryor is facing a significant investigation from the NCAA.

The Columbus Dispatch is reporting that Pryor might have accepted even more benefits than first reported.

Pryor is entering his senior season at Ohio State, but has already been suspended for at least five games for accepting improper benefits from a local tattoo shop owner.

There is also speculation that Pryor might just leave Ohio State via the supplemental draft for the NFL.

This comes on the same day Jim Tressel is forced to resign at Ohio State.

This is a tough one. Trying to find sympathy and/or root for either side is nearly impossible. Crooked NCAA or entitled athletes and coaches, who do I dislike less? I’m not supporting either.

  2. BJS says:

Fox News in Columbus reported that Pryor showed up for a team meeting today driving a late model Nissan 350Z with temp plates that he just “bought” six days ago. Car is supposedly registgered to Mommy.

OSU is just like 95% of the other colleges, but, guess what they got caught.

PERHAPS. but i think O$U was one of the worst offenders under Tressel. Glad to see them made an example of. Pryor isnt even that good is what is funny.

  4. JackGoff says:

HAHA, Pryor along with OSU is garbage.

  5. MJT says:

Isn’t this a good example of “Win at Any Cost” mentality. No morals, no accountability, that goes for OSU, the NCAA and the players themselves. Pryor should be ashamed of himself for dishonoring the school and he thinks an NFL Team will draft him? I hope there are some moral standards that will prevent that from happening. I would be willing to bet that Pryor doesn’t have the grades to graduate and was given a free ride because he can play football.
