Fire Knocks Out Power To Part Of Mt. Washington
MOUNT WASHINGTON (KDKA) – A transformer fire is to blame for power outages on Mount Washington Wednesday morning.
The transformer caught on fire outside of the Trimont around 5 a.m.
Firefighters had to close Grandview Avenue between Plymouth and Hallock Streets while they fought the fire.
Service is expected to be restored to the Trimont and the condos and apartments at 111 Grandview this evening.
