PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The weather outlook is unsettled for the Pittsburgh area over the next few days.

KDKA meteorologist Dennis Bowman says we’ll see periods of showers today with the possibility of a gusty thunderstorm this afternoon and this evening. Any storms that pop up could also bring damaging winds and hail.

Bowman says today’s high will be 74 degrees and tonight’s low will near 60. Thunderstorms are also possible overnight.

For Friday and the weekend, Bowman says there will be a mix of sun and clouds with the daily chance of a gusty thunderstorm.

While none of the days ahead will be washouts, we will have to watch the sky closely and be prepared to move indoors.

The high on Friday will 76, and temperatures will climb to the low- and mid-80s for highs on Saturday and Sunday.
