4-1-Zoo: Ohio Defensive End Chooses Pitt

PITTSBURGH — Defensive end Myles Hilliard became Todd Graham's second commit of the 2012 recruiting class Friday.

Hilliard plays at Bedford High School in Ohio and is a 3-star recruit as rated by Scout.com and Rivals.com. At 6-foot-6, 245 pounds, Hilliard has good size to start with to fit in at the college level.

According to Scout.com, Hilliard had offers from 11 other schools, highlighted by Michigan State, Minnesota, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Hilliard has been clocked at 4.72 in the 40-yard dash, which isn't far behind some of top rated defensive ends in the country. He joins Sto-Rox High School's Marzett Geter as the first two members of Pitt and Graham's 2012 recruiting class — Graham's first full opportunity to pull in a class at Pitt.
