Front Approaches Area, Could Bring Storms
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- After a cloudy start to Thursday, we are expecting some thunderstorm development in the second half of the day.
KDKA meteorologist Dennis Bowman says a cool front will approach the area this afternoon and evening, setting off a scattering of thunderstorms.
Some of them could contain hail and gusty winds. Flooding downpours are also possible.
Bowman says today's high will near 80 degrees and tonight's low will be around 65.
Following the front's passage, there is the chance of a thunderstorm on Friday afternoon.
Then, the atmosphere dries out for the weekend with temperatures in the 70s.
