2 Injured In Venango Co. Crash

CLINTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Two people were hurt in a Saturday afternoon single-vehicle accident in Venango County.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened on Interstate 80 in Clinton Township around 1:10 p.m.

A Honda CRV traveling west, spun and hit the embankment causing the vehicle to roll up and over the median.

The vehicle came to rest on its wheels in the eastbound lane.

The driver of the vehicle, Antwon Lawson, 29, was transported to Grove City Medical Center to be treated for moderate injuries.

Alexandria Rozzi, 23, of Newtown, was a passenger in the vehicle. She was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

During the course of the crash investigation, police found marijuana in the car.

Lawson has been charged with DUI, possession of marijuana and other charges.

He was driving on a suspended license and was placed in the Venango County Jail in lieu of bail.
