PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – The Pittsburgh Pirates took two of three games over the weekend against the Boston Red Sox, so ROOT Sports Analyst, and former Pirate All-Star, Kent Tekulve joined the Fan Morning Show to offer his thoughts.

“Teke” was impressed by the Pirates this weekend, and with the crowds at PNC Park. But, what has stood out most has been how the Pirates’ bullpen has evolved this season.

The middle relief has done a remarkable job of getting through to Joel Hanrahan. And, Joel is still perfect in save opportunities despite getting into and out of a jam on Saturday night.
