Suspicious Package Found In Downtown Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious package that was found downtown Friday morning.

The package was found on Forbes Avenue between the City-County Building and the Allegheny County Courthouse.

It was found in a Port Authority bus stop waiting area around 6 a.m.

As it turns out, the package was only a suitcase filled with clothes.

Three blocks were closed while the Bomb Squad conducted their investigation, which  caused traffic delays.

The area has been reopened and traffic is flowing through the area, but some delays can still be expected.

Why does Ross Always have to explain that terrorists set out fake bombs to observe the reaction of the bomb squad every time the bomb squad finds a backpack with books a suit case with cloths in it or a microwave with ravioli? We get it, every time the bomb squad is called out it Could be a bomb.. but mostly it’s just a chance to fill time for the news stations
