NFL Lockout Concerns Some Latrobe Officials

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Though Steelers training camp is scheduled to open in just a few weeks, the continuation of the NFL's labor dispute is raising some concerns in part of Westmoreland County.

Owners and players are set to talk again this week -- after two long days of negotiations last week.

Time is running out though for an agreement to end the nearly 4-month lockout without a disruption to the preseason.

The lockout has put training camp into question, which has some officials in Latrobe a little concerned.

In addition to the exposure that the community gets when the Steelers arrive, training camp brings in hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue to the region.

While at least three teams have already canceled plans to stage training camp at their usual off-site locations, the Steelers say that they are still planning to go to Saint Vincent College.
