Bottom Line: James Harrison Needs To Be Punished

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Senior Editor of Pro Football Weekly, Eric Edholm, joins Seibel, Starkey, and Miller to talk about James Harrison.

Eric says that something has to be done with James Harrison.  Edholm goes on to say Coach Mike Tomlin is just the guy to deal with this situation.  He suggests the coach sit down with Harrison and call him out for the way he spoke about his teammates, then move forward.

When asked to take off the reporter hat and look at the situation simply as a fan, Edholm says the worst thing is the way he called out his teammates, saying it will create a level of division in the locker room.  He says Harrison should have criticized his own performance in the Super Bowl before talking about others.

Eric Edholm ends the conversation by saying Harrison does raise some valid points, yet they were undercut by the manner he went about addressing the issues at hand.

I want to see the whole interview. I know he says some inappropriate things sometimes but let’s be real. Reporters bend stories everyday simply to get a reaction from people. This is another example.

  2. Matt says:

James just gave the Steelers their reason to dump his LARGE Salary.

  3. Tyrone says:

    Maybe they should dump you.

  4. Charles says:

If his team mates don’t have a problem with what he said then neither do I. I wouldn’t have used his exact words to describe Goodell but I get the point

  5. Eddie Yount says:

its football not tennis . let the man play …

Goodell had ruined Football. He deserves to take the Heat for his incompetence. The Massaqua Hit was a joke. And he knows it. We have instant reply. He is trying to make football a game of 2 hand touch. And why? Maybe because he is a TOTAL Pat Fan. All of these rules are because of the Beamer look alike. We didnt ruin football when McMahon got piledriven by the Pack. The QB earns more money then most. Let him earn it also. They know what they are stepping into when they sign a contract. And the direct attempt to crusify the Steelers is just a Prime example of why he doesnt deserve the power he now holds. Impartial. Thats It Roger! Impartial. Your are just as much to blame for this lockout as the Owners. Harrison should NOT be punished for speaking his mind..especially when He was telling the truth. The Steelers were sloppy and didnt even come to play. Mendenhall doesnt have the Goods. Harrison is entitled to the same luxury that me and u share. Freedom of speech. It works for u media flipping journalists. Let it work for him.
