Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced that the home game on August 20 versus the Cincinnati Reds has been selected
by FOX as the FOX Saturday Baseball Game of the Week.

As a result of the national broadcast, the game time has been moved to 4:11 p.m. Eastern from its originally scheduled start time of 7:05 p.m. Eastern.

The Pirates will now appear in back-to-back FOX Saturday Baseball Games of the Week, as FOX has also picked up the Pirates game in Milwaukee on Saturday, August 13, moving the start time of that game to 4:11 p.m. Eastern.

This will be the first time since August 28, 2004 that FOX will broadcast a Pirates game at PNC Park.

“We are excited for the opportunity to showcase not only our exciting team, but the passion of our fans, the best ballpark in the country and our great city to a national audience,” said Pirates President Frank Coonelly.

The originally scheduled fireworks show following the game on August 20 will be cancelled due to the game time change.

Paul Zeist is the biggest moron on earth (97Fan). He keeps calling for the pirates to rip their team apart to trade for a “bat.” I don’t think he has even the slightest understanding of this. Fire him please and put someone intelligent on.
