Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Todd Graham landed two commitments from two highly rated prospects from the state of Ohio.

The two recruits are actually brothers.

Chris and Demitrious Davis (Austintown, Ohio) gave the Pitt football program verbal commitments yesterday afternoon.

Unlike most of Pitt’s other verbal commitments, the Davis Twins were highly recruited by major programs.

They picked Pitt over more than 20 scholarship offers, including offers from schools in the ACC, SEC, Big Ten and Pac-12.

Chris held offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Boise State, Iowa, Oregon State, Purdue, UCLA and West Virginia.

Demitrious was offered by Arkansas, Baylor, BostoN College, Colorado, Iowa, Oregon, Oregon State, Purdue, UCLA and West Virginia.

Both brothers are expected to play wide receiver at Pitt.

Pitt now has nine commitments in the Class of 2012.
