PITTSBURGH (SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN) — Post-Gazette Steelers beat writer Ed Bouchette joined the Vinnie and Cook Show on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan to discuss all things Steelers heading into training camp.

Ed tells us that being the first player to arrive at camp is nothing out of the ordinary for James Harrison and doesn’t think it has anything to do with his inflammatory comments earlier this month.

Noting that 14 Steelers are free agents, Ed estimates that seven or eight will be re-signed.  He gives us a comprehensive look at what players might be staying and what players will likely be gone very soon.

Ed also tells us how the Steelers could handle oft-injured veterans Aaron Smith and Troy Polamalu.  He leaves us with his take on how Hines Ward may be disciplined by Roger Goodell, as well as the NFL lockout ending and how it will affect the league.
