WEXFORD (KDKA) – Emergency crews are at the scene of a multiple-vehicle accident on Interstate 79.

The accident  is on the southbound side of the road near the split for Interstate 279.

At least two vehicles are involved and traffic has been reduced to two lanes in the area.

At least one person was injured after being ejected from their vehicle. They were transported to Allegheny General Hospital, but their condition is unknown.
