Pittsburgh (KDKA)- There’s not much good news to report these days with the Pittsburgh Pirates as their current losing streak has reached 10 games.

There is some positive news concerning some of the team’s minor league players.

Here are some Pirates Minor League News & Notes:
Indianapolis: Matt Hague enters today ranked first in the International League in hits (137), total bases (205) and fourth in batting average (.319)….

Altoona: Starling Marte ranks first in the Eastern League in hits (131), fifth in batting average (.312) and fourth in total bases (196)….

Bradenton: The Marauders have won a season-high eight straight games and currently hold a 3 game lead in the South Division of the Florida State League…

*Robbie Grossman leads the league with 104 runs scored and walks (94)

*Elvys Gonzalez is batting .314 and Adalberto Santos is batting .310

*SP Brett Lorin is third in the league with a 2.59 ERA

West Virginia: Zack Fuesser ranks third in the South Atlantic League in ERA (3.00)

*Colton Cain ranks fifth in the league (3.13) and first in batting average against among starters (.211 average)

State College: Nicholas Kingham ranks seventh in the league in ERA (2.80 ERA)…In his last 6 starts, Kingham has posted a 1.29 ERA
