“The Bus” Weighs In On Hall Of Fame, James Harrison & Concussions

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Former Pittsburgh Steeler Jerome Bettis joined the Vinnie and Cook show on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan to discuss the NFL Hall of Fame, the Steelers’ chances in 2011 and James Harrison’s comments to Men’s Journal last month.

Bettis thinks former Steelers center Dermontti Dawson is a can’t-miss hall of famer, and that the Steelers will be one of the teams to benefit from the NFL lockout.

“The Bus” also speaks on the concussion issue that is plaguing the sport of football, especially the NFL, and what should be done to try to increase player safety from the pros all the way down to middle schoolers.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? WHAT DID BETTIS EVER DO TO EVEN BE CONSIDERED FOR THE HALL OF FAME? SOMEBODY ELSE WOULD ALWAYS RUN THE BALL TO WITHIN THE FIVE YARD LINE AND THEN THEY WOULD GIVE THE BALL TO HIM. WHAT A JOKE
