PITTSBURGH (KDKA)– ESPN College Gameday will be at the University of Pittsburgh on Jan. 21.

The university will host the television show at the Petersen Events Center prior to the Panthers scheduled Louisville game, officials at ESPN announced Thursday.

This will be the second time Pitt hosts the telecast since the show was launched in 2005. Pitt hosted College Gameday on Jan. 13, 2007, and more than 3,000 members of the Oakland Zoo and general public attended.

ESPN Collge Gameday is hosted by Rece Davis, along with analysts Jay Bilas, Hubert Davis, Digger Phelps and Bob Knight.

Pitt is one of six different venues ESPN College Gameday will visit during the 2011-12 basketball season.
