Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The Pirates have placed RHP Kevin Correia on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique, retroactive to August 20.

The Pirates have also recalled RHP Chris Leroux from his rehab assignment and have reinstated him from the 15-day disabled list.

Leroux, who has been sidelined with a left calf strain since July 28, will be active for tonight’s doubleheader against Milwaukee.

In six appearances with Indianapolis on rehab, Leroux went 2-1 with a 2.08 ERA (13.0ip/10h/3r/3er/5bb/13so). He made his last appearance on Friday and pitched 3.0 innings vs. Louisville.
