Steelers QBs Weigh In On What Makes A Top Quarterback

PITTSBURGH (SportsRadio 93-7 The FAN) — Joe Starkey of Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN caught up with Ben Roethlisberger, Byron Leftwich, and Charlie Batch to see what in their eyes, it takes to be an elite Quarterback in the NFL.

Roethlisberger talked about what, outside of just wins, it takes for him to define a top Quarterback in the league.  Ben also discussed the conversations he had with Offensive Coordinator Bruce Arians and how he talked him out of retirement after the previous season.

When Byron Leftwich was asked what statistical measurements are best for evaluating an NFL Quarterback, he said it has to do more with just watching a player and knowing that he has what it takes.

Charlie Batch said that nobody understood the old Passer Rating, and that it just comes down to wins more than anything else.
