Plum HS Football Player Hospitalized

PLUM BORO (KDKA) -- A Plum High School football player was taken to the hospital.

The ninth grader collided with another player during a scrimmage at about 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Paramedics treated the boy who complained of numbness in his extremities. A medical helicopter was also called to the scene.

The player is now at Children's Hospital.

Plum High School Principal Ryan Kociela says the boy has regained feeling in all of his extremities.
