PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Supporters of a Republican-backed proposal that would require all Pennsylvania voters to show photo identification at the polling booth are picking up steam in Harrisburg.
State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-Cranberry, has been leading the charge to require voter identification, gaining support this week from Secretary of the Commonwealth Carol Aichele, Pennsylvania’s top election official.
KDKA Radio’s Mike Pintek talks with Marybeth Kuznik, founder and executive director of VotePA.us, about why she thinks voter IDs are a bad idea, and the other threats to voting integrity she thinks are more pressing.
Listen to Mike Pintek every weekday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on NewsRadio 1020 KDKA!
