Green Returns To Penn State

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- It appears as though running back Stephfon Green will be playing this season for Penn State after all.

According to his Twitter account, Green said that "Just glad everything worked out and im back with my team!!"

Earlier this summer, Penn State head coach Joe Paterno kicked Green off the team.

Green has gained 1,085 yards and scored eight touchdowns in three seasons, and gained just 188 yards last season.

Green will be competing for a backup spot because Silas Redd will be Penn State's starting running back for the 2011 season.

Green will be competing against Brandon Beachum and Curtis Dukes.
