Paterno May Not Coach From Sidelines

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Penn State head coach Joe Paterno may not be healthy enough to coach from the sidelines Saturday vs. Indiana State.

Today at his weekly press conference, Paterno said it's "50/50" as to whether he'll coach from the field this week.

Since being knocked over by wide receiver Devon Smith at practice, Paterno has been forced to watch practice from a golf cart and walked into today's press conference with a cane.

Most people close to the program believe it's very likely he'll coach from the press box for the season opener.

Paterno, 84, declined to name a starting quarterback, saying that both Rob Bolden and Matt McGloin would play against the Division I-AA Sycamores
