Top Prospect Visiting Pitt This Weekend

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Less than 2 weeks ago, Jamie Dixon landed 4-star point guard James Robinson. This weekend, he'll be hosting one of the Top 50 players in the Class of 2012.

Elijah Macon (6-8, power forward), a 4-star top-50 player in the class of 2012, will be taking an official visit to Pitt this weekend. ESPN ranks Macon as the 44th best player in 2012 while Rivals has him at 57. Macon is from Columbus, Ohio.

Despite being one of the top ranked players in the country, Macon only has three official offers (Cincinnati, Iowa and USC).

If Pitt were to land Macon, they'd likely have one of their highest rated recruiting classes ever. They've received verbal commitments from Robinson (4-star) and 5-star center Steven Adams, who was recently ranked the 5th best player in the Class of 2012.
