Local Fans Try Out For 'The Price Is Right'

NORTH STRABANE (KDKA) -- They heard the call to come on down and they came.

The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Washington County played host to hundreds of people who want to be contestants on "The Price Is Right."

All the folks in line got exactly 30 seconds in front of a camera to say why they wanted to be on "The Price Is Right."

But what exactly is the game show looking for?

George Gray would certainly know. He's the announcer.

"You know what it's like – everybody's excited!" he said.

Out of all of the people, only two will be chosen to fly to Los Angeles and one of them will be a contestant on the show.

Winners will be notified in a few weeks.
