PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — NewsRadio 1020 KDKA’s Mike Pintek talks with Cynthia Weber, author of I Am an American: Filming the Fear of Differenceand director of the documentary film of the same name, about how the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 changed our identities as Americans – and how it didn’t.

Weber, who grew up in Indiana, Pennsylvania, discusses her book, which chronicled the lives of American citizens of all types in the wake of the attacks.  She tells Mike about the project, and what she learned about what exactly it means to be an American in a post 9/11 world.
