SHERADEN (KDKA) — A woman is recovering at a local hospital after being shot during an armed robbery early this morning.

It happened near the border of Sheraden and Corliss in the 3100-block of Chartiers Avenue, by Molly O’s bar.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the 31-year-old woman and a 49-year-old man told police that a teenager robbed them at gunpoint around 3 a.m.

The young suspect allegedly then shot the woman in the leg.

She was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital, where she was last listed in good condition.
