Blue Chip Recruits At Pitt/Notre Dame Game

Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Tomorrow is a big day for the Pitt Panthers because they host Notre Dame. The football program will also be hosting a number of blue-chip prospects.

With Notre Dame in town and an expected sellout crowd at Heinz Field, it should be a good atmosphere to impress potential recruits.

Chris Peak of Pantherlair.com has a list of the recruits that are expected to attend tomorrow's game.

Leading the way will be Fox Chapel 4-star offensive tackle Adam Bisnowaty. According to Peak, Bisnowaty will decide between Pitt and Florida.

Trotwood (Oh) Trotwood-Madison safety Bam Bradley will also take in tomorrow's game. Bradley is a 3-star safety that has offers from Arizona, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Stanford, Tennessee and West Virginia.

Chad Voytik, Pitt's quarterback of the future will be making an official visit as well. Voytik, who is a 4-star prospect, committed to Todd Graham and the Panthers back in July.

Austintown Fitch running back William Mahone will be at Heinz Field and will be in an interesting situation. The 4-star running back has narrowed his choices to Pitt and Notre Dame. Aside from those schools, Mahone also has offers from Michigan State, Penn State, Iowa, Tennessee and West Virginia.

Other blue-chip recruits that are expected to attend: Jeannette safety Demetrious Cox, Sto-Rox linebacker Deaysean Rippy, Chartiers Valley athlete Wayne Capers and Mt. Lebanon athlete Luke Hagy.

Cox is a 4-star safety with offers from Penn State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Wisconsin and Michigan State. Rippy is a 4-star linebacker with offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Tennessee, USC and West Virginia.

Pitt has 16 verbal commitments for the Class of 2012.
