Braddock Detective Held For Trial On Burglary Charges

BRADDOCK (KDKA) – A Braddock Police detective will head to trial on burglary and drug charges.

On Tuesday, James Scuffle was held for trial on a list of charges including, theft of a motor vehicle, conspiracy, burglary and insurance fraud.

The thefts mostly took place in Westmoreland County while he was on medical leave following an on-duty automobile accident.

In one instance, Scuffle allegedly stole crack cocaine from the evidence room of the Braddock Police Department and gave it to a woman.

She was to sell the drugs to raise $450 in bail money for another woman’s release. Investigators said Scuffle was afraid the woman in jail would snitch on him.

Scuffle is free on $100,000 bail and has been suspected y Braddock Borough Council without pay pending the result of the trial.

I pray he realizes the tremendous evil he has done. We all have done evil, no matter what profession. I pray he accepts and takes responsibility for what he has done and repents. I pray he turns to the only one who can provide him with salvation and asks for forgiveness. In Yeshua’s name…William Anthony Dlubak
