Fatal Home Invasion Probed In Clairton

CLAIRTON (KDKA) — Investigators say three home invasion suspects turned on each other in Clairton and one of them is dead.

Two black males and a white male entered a home in the 3100-block of Miles Avenue with guns looking for drugs and money.

Two men living in the apartment were home when the three men came inside.

The home invasion suspects began arguing with each other.

“One of the black males shot the deceased who came in with them,” Allegheny County Police Asst. Sup. James Morton said.

“So, the two people in the residence fled while the confrontation was going on, so they escaped, but for some reason they killed the white male that brought them into the residence.”

The victim is a 27-year-old male from the Clairton area. He was found the backyard of the apartment after he ran out of the backdoor.

The two black males also ran from the apartment. Police arrested one of them. He is being questioned but has not been charged.
