HOW IN THE WORLD COULD YOU STEAL A BRIDGE????? AND WHY??? TO TURN IT IN FOR MONEY AT THE RECYCLING PLACE. EITHER THIS STORY HAS OTHER FACTORS, ….OR… THESE ARE 2 STUPID!!! PEOPLE, DUH!

The best part is that it was a month before anyone noticed the bridge was missing, they did the town a favor….free the bridge guys at least they worked for the money

Let me educate the uneducated comments above:
LCMC: Salvaging metal is big ‘business’ in this part of PA. Hundreds of vacant homes have had their copper piping taken, hundreds of telephone poles have had their copper ‘lightning rod’ wires puled down, old mill sites have been ransacked…. it goes on and on, legit and theft. What is stupid #1 Stealing, and #2 turning it in locally for cash if you stole it.
Harman: It was about a week, not a month. The bridge does not belong to the town or state either.
johnny69: the bridge is on private property, its already been stated that the business there decided they will not replace it.
Sometimes these comments are like listening to 6th graders snickering over their cafeteria lunches, and about as clueless.
