PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) — The KDKA Afternoon news was joined by Rita Soronen, head of the Dave Thomas Foundation. 

A new study details the steps the authors say can nearly double the number of foster children adopted in the United States every year.

The report comes from the organization Child Trends and the Dave Thomas Foundation.
