PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — It is arguably the most intense rivalry in the league — one fueled by the pride of die-hard fans and the rhetoric leading up to Sunday’s showdown.
“Like I said, I love being the bad guy,” Ravens LB Terrell Suggs said. “Whatever they gonna do, we gonna act accordingly.”
He’s on the front lines of the verbal battle.
“I heard a lot of trash talk from Terrell Suggs all week about how the Ravens own the Steelers because they beat us one time,” Brandon Crusan, a Steelers fan, said.
What fans don’t want to see is a repeat of the thrashing in the season opener.
“We’re gonna come off – the last time they beat us – we have revenge on our mind – I think we’re gonna beat them this time by a lot,” Ryan Crusan added.
“I think we’ve definitely made a comeback the last few games and I think this game, we’re gonna bring it home again,” Christina Werdann said.
“We have Ben, we have James Harrison, we have Casey, we have them all,” Marie Waechter said. “We’ll get you Terrell. We’ll show you on the field.”
