PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Sto-Rox’s Deaysean Rippy, the No. 13 outside linebacker in the country according to MaxPreps, joined 93-7 The Fan’s John Phillips Saturday to react to his team’s 40-0 blanking of Brentwood in the WPIAL Class A Quarterfinals at Dormont Stadium the previous night.

Deaysean talks about his team’s approach to this season, which is now the first 11-0 season in program history, and about how he is managing the physical toll that a long season can take on any player.

In addition, Deaysean, who is being recruited locally and coast to coast by schools in a number of BCS conferences, reacts to the saga at Penn State.

No. 2 seed Sto-Rox faces No. 3 seed Bishop Canevin, another unbeaten squad, in the Class A Semifinals next Friday night at 7:30 at a site to be announced.
