Paul Zeise Breaks Down "Brawl"

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - The Pitt Panthers lost to the West Virginia Mountaineers 21-20 Friday night in the "Backyard Brawl." Paul Zeise from the Post-Gazette joined Bob Pompeani on his Saturday show to recap the loss.

Paul thinks that the offense let the team down, especially when they couldn't turn two different muffed punts into touchdowns instead of field goals, which would have won the game for Pitt.

Paul doesn't want to be too hard on a college kid, but Tino is a veteran who has played 25 games for Pitt, and he has to know to get rid of the ball and not take sacks in the fourth quarter.

The guys compare the two coaches from last night's game in their first seasons, and Paul thinks that Dana Holgorsen has done a better job than Todd Graham, because WVU has been a better 2nd Half team meaning he is better at making adjustments than Graham.

Paul says that next week, in the season finale, he would start Mark Meyers, because he can't imagine that he will play any worse than Tino Sunseri against Syracuse.
