2 Men Killed In Donegal Crash Identified

DONEGAL TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- The investigation continues following an accident that claimed the lives of two people on Friday afternoon in Westmoreland County.

The crash happened along Route 31 in Donegal Township near the Somerset County border.

State police have identified the victims as 77-year-old George Brodmerkel of Sewickley and 33-year-old Jeremy Miller of Berlin, Pa.

Authorities say Miller was headed westbound when his car crashed head-on into the vehicle Brodmerkel was driving.

The roadway had to be closed down for several hours on Friday while crews investigated at the scene.
