CANONSBURG (KDKA) — Police will have a presence at Canon-McMillan High School after school officials learned of a threat.

A school administrator tells KDKA-TV that someone made a threat that involved bringing a weapon to the school.

The school contacted police and the threat was determined to be non-credible.

As a precaution, teachers and staff will be on alert and police will be on hand Thursday as well.
