SHARPSBURG (KDKA) — A tractor trailer struck a pole causing extensive damage at an intersection in Sharpsburg this morning.

The accident happened at 18th Street and Hill Street.

It appears the driver may have cut the turn a little too close, splintering a pole and bringing down some wires.

There is no word on whether there were any injuries.
