PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Imagine a world where your birthday and holidays always fall on the same day of each year, and every five years we add a week to December.

It could happen if a new calendar created by modern science is used instead of our usual Gregorian calendar.

This new calendar, The Hanke-Henry Permanent Calendar, was created by Johns Hopkins professors Steve Hanke and Richard Conn Henry, and they say it is more stable and have huge economic benefits.

KDKA-AM’s Larry and John talk to astrophysicist Richard Conn Henry about his new calendar and how it works.
