PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police are investigating after a body was found in a city neighborhood.

Authorities received the call shortly after 4 p.m.

The male body was discovered by a female inside a house in the 4200-block of Bristol Street in Greenfield.

Police sources say it was a bloody scene.

Neighbors say the man lived alone and was often seen walking his dog through the streets.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner is also at the scene.

The man’s name has not been released.
