DUNBAR TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — An elderly homeowner was hospitalized after being rescued from a fire overnight in Fayette County.

The flames are believed to have broken out in an attached garage and then spread to the Dunbar Township home.

It happened at a residence in the 700-block of Vanderbilt Road around midnight.

There is no word on the condition of the homeowner.
