State Police Search For Suspect In Fayette Co. Assault

MENALLEN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police are looking for a Uniontown man after they say his pregnant girlfriend and two other women were assaulted overnight in Fayette County.

Authorities say the incident happened just before 3:30 a.m. at the Village of Searights in Menallen Township.

According to state police, an arrest warrant has been issued for 18-year-old Alexander Huffman.

Investigators say Huffman’s girlfriend was choked, shoved, pushed, hit in the face with a computer router and knocked down. She was taken to Uniontown Hospital for treatment. She has not been identified.

State police report two other women who tried to help the victim were also injured.

Authorities say “Huffman fled the scene” when state police arrived.

There is no update on the woman’s condition.
