Critics Say Penn State Not Doing Enough

PITTSBURGH (NEWSRADIO 1020 KDKA) -- Penn State President Rodney Erickson was in Pittsburgh last night as part of a town hall tour he's conducting to let the public know that Penn State will be more transparent in its dealings.

The problem, say alumni, is that he's not really saying much about anything, and his offices are as tight-lipped with media requests as they were in the past.

PR expert David LaTorre says Penn State hasn't done anything to improve their image, and that President Erickson should be the last person to be the face of the University.

He joins KDKA AM's Larry Richert and John Shumway with a scathing critique of how the University and its trustees are still mishandling Penn State's image.
