LAWRENCEVILLE (KDKA) – One person was arrested in connection with a Wednesday night armed robbery at a Lawrenceville convenience store.

According to emergency dispatchers, the incident happened at the Kwik-E-Mart near the intersection of 36th Street and Liberty Avenue around 9:35 p.m.

The suspect allegedly threatened an employee at gunpoint and ran away on foot.

There are no reported injuries and it is not known what the suspect may have stolen.

The suspect’s name has not been released at this time.
